Hi. My printer use to always allow me to print via my phone on the hp app or just by pressing print.

But the last week+ its stopped and I can't print its saying its connected to the WiFi and the signal quality is 3/5.

But it won't print at all..

Is it time to just get a better newer printer? Or has anyone else had this issue and got it sorted

Which phone do you have? Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App and try again.

I have a huawei p40 pro and also have a huawei p20 lite

It use to allow me of both devices but no longer will at all!

It will print via email but that don't help as then things arent coming out right...

Do you think it's because the printer is old?

Let's reset the network settings on the Printer:

Go to the setup menu>Tools>Restore Factory Defaults

Once done, connect the Printer back to the Wi-Fi: 1. From the printer control panel, touch ( Wireless ). 2. Touch ( Settings ). 3. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard. 4. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Let me know if this helps.

I have reset the printer trying to sort that and still won't connect to the hp app to print anything.

No it will no longer work from any device.

I've read online it says a fault is with the IP address being different from the WiFi?

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.

Please do check your inbox on the communities page for the private message.
