Product: HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer

My printer always goes off line,or to sleep, when I try to print from the computer, when I disconnect the power and start it again, usually corrects the problem and it will print.  However, when I print from my phone, it usually prints without any issues. I don't know why on the computer it always shows offline or the printer went to sleep.  How do you stop that from happening?
