ENVY Photo 6234

Just took delivery today of a new ENVY Photo 6234 and have been battling to get it to connect to my wifi network for the last 2 hours.  Printer is discovered by the HP Smart mobile app, but after inputting the password of my wifi network the printer simply does not connect.  I must have tried this 10 times.  If i try directly on the printer (using the wireless connection wizard) my wifi network is discovered, but when i click on it I can see that on the next screen "Security" is listed as "No encryption".

I have printed off the Network Configuration Page - which lists all the discovered 802.11 networks, and this again shows my wifi network SSID and both 2.5GHz and 5GHz channels, but with no entry in the "Auth" or "Encrypt" columns.

I am running a Tenda wifi mesh network.  It is encrypted with WPA2 PSK.  All family devices are connected fine to this network.

Please help.

Thanks in advance! Want to get this working before my children begin their home schooling on Monday/Tuesday!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's restore the network settings on the Printer 1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ). 2. Touch Restore Network Settings, and then follow the onscreen instructions. 3. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Once done, try connecting the printer to the network.

Let me know if this helps.
