Hi @Suz1870,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 6055 printer is printing too large from your iPhone, there could be a few settings to adjust either on your iPhone or within the printer's properties that could resolve this issue. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help troubleshoot and hopefully fix the problem:

Check the Print Settings on Your iPhone:

  • When you select the print option from your iPhone, tap on 'Options' to ensure the print settings are correct. Check for settings like 'Scale' or 'Page Size' and adjust them if necessary. Make sure it's set to print at 100% scale for normal size printing.

Check Application Settings:

  • Sometimes the app from which you are printing (e.g., Pages, Photos, Email) might have its own print settings. Make sure that any scaling or formatting settings within the app are set correctly.

Update Printer Software and Firmware:

  • Ensure that your HP Envy 6055 has the latest firmware and software updates. Updates can fix bugs and improve functionality. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app on your iPhone.

Inspect the HP Smart App Settings:

  • If you are using the HP Smart app to print, open the app and check the print settings there. Ensure that the settings such as paper size and scale are correctly configured for standard printing.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • Try resetting the printing settings on the printer itself. You can usually find this option in the printer’s built-in menu under ‘Settings’ or similar. This will revert any changes that may be causing issues.

Reinstall the Printer on Your iPhone:

  • Remove the HP Envy 6055 from your list of printers on the iPhone and then add it again. To do this, go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners, then select the printer and choose ‘Forget This Device.’ After that, add it again by going back to the printing option in the app you are using and selecting ‘Add Printer.’

Restart Both Devices:

  • Sometimes, simply restarting both the printer and your iPhone can resolve unexpected issues. Turn off both devices, wait a few moments, and then turn them back on before attempting to print again.

Print from a Different App:

  • Try printing from a different app to see if the issue is app-specific. If it prints normally from other apps, the problem might be with the original app's settings or compatibility.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
