I have forgotten the custom printer password in my HP Smart app

If you've forgotten the custom printer password in your HP Smart app, especially for accessing the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for your HP printer, there are a few steps you can take to reset it or regain access:

 

Reset the Printer to Factory Settings: This is the most direct approach but also resets all your settings to their defaults. The process can vary slightly between different models, but generally, it involves turning the printer off, waiting a few seconds, and then turning it on while holding down a specific button or combination of buttons. Consult your printer's manual for the exact procedure. Keep in mind that this will remove all settings, including the EWS password, allowing you to set a new one.
