Hello, I recently got a new broadband provider, need to connect HP envy 6000 series printer to the network. I've followed the steps in HP support site, but its not working. I've pushed the wifi button at the back of the printer, doesn't seem to do anything
I now have a printer that is pretty much useless, anyone got any ideas how to sort this out?
Many thanks for your help,
Mary.

Hi Mary, same problem here - new modem with different name and I've done all the diagnosis steps to get the message 'windows doesn't have a network profile for this printer". I've spent hours on it and even managed to do a wireless network test, which stated that the printer FAILED the SSID (Network Name) search. Do you think I can find out how to 'simply' change it? ANYONE, please help?

Perform a power reset , Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware to install the latest update
