HPOFFICEJET4650 and IMAC High Sierra OS10.13.6 After selecting a document or internet article to print a window shows the printer is paused and when clicked to resume printing, it won't.

How do we get it to behave?

Welcome to the HP support community.

Are you getting any error messages?

Could you elaborate on the issue for better understanding?

Hi@zoomf_16mr, @Vladek,

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that you are facing issues with your Printer wherein it is on pause mode. Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

  • Turn the printer off and on, and then make sure it is in a ready state.
  • Search Windows for devices, and then click Devices and Printers in the list of results.
  • Find the icon for the printer you originally installed.
  • Right-click the icon for the default printer, and then select See what's printing. The print queue window opens.
  • Click Printer. If a checkmark displays next to Pause Printing and Use Printer Offline, click each item to remove the checkmark.
  • Try to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
