HP LaserJet MFP M232e-M237e Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

How do I determine the MAC address of my printer? I have HP LaserJet MFP M232e-M237e Printer.   I tried printing an information page by pressing the "I" button but it does not show the MAC (i.e. physical address). I need the MAC address for my dorm ResNet.  I need to enter this MAC address into their webform so that my printer can get connected to their network so I can print.

Thank you,

Hi @PaulC76,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you need information on finding MAC Address for your HP LaserJet MFP M232e-M237e Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

You have to print a network configuration report:

If it does not work, then we can use the command prompt to find the MAC Address of any device:

  • Open a command-line window on any network-attached computer. ( Click on start icon and type cmd to open command prompt)
  • Type “arp -a” without the quotation marks at the command prompt and press the “Enter” key.
  • Look at the entry immediately to the right of the printer's IP address. The MAC address appears as six sets of two hexadecimal characters separated by dashes. For example: 00-80-77-91-0b-8a.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
