I have just moved to a new apartment with a mesh wifi network that I need my printer to access. I do not have access to the WIFI WPS button like is mentioned in previous posts to connect the printer. I am trying to use the HP App to connect to the new wifi network but I am unable to connect. Whenever the wifi is searching from the printer I can see the printer WIFI being projected named, "DIRECT-6a-HP M29 LaserJet" but it is password protected and I do not have the password.
I would like to restore factory default settings so that my printer is no longer looking for my old WIFI network but instead looking for my new one.

Hi,
Make sure there is no USB cable attached to the back of the printer.
Ensure the printer is ready, press X to wake it up, a ready mode is indicated by a solid power light with no other blinking lights beside the WiFi light.
Press and hold the Wireless button for about 20 seconds, as soon as the Attention Light starts blinking, release the wireless button and allow the printer to restart.
Now make sure you are connected to your Home WiFi, that you see an HP-Setup SSID within the nearby wireless range.
Open the HP Smart app and click the plus sign, then press on Add Set Up a New Printer. and follow the steps on screen to connect the printer to your home WiFi.

You're welcome @RyanJordo !
Great to see that your issue has been resolved by following the other suggestion and that the printer is up and running back.
Cheers,
Shlomi
