Envy Pro 6430
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HI, I recently bought a brand new HP Envy Pro 6430 printer. 3 issues:

1. It is connected to our wireless network but regularly shows as offline.

2. I have downloaded and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor but it keeps asking me for a printer log in and password to continue. I didn't set up a log in so how do I continue? There is no Help to show where to look.

3. The printer On/Off switch does not work, the only way to recycle the printer is to unplug it.

Is this all routine for HP printers or are they just rubbish? How is their CS as I am very close to asking for a refund and moving to another make.

Hi,

The username is admin (all lowercase)

The password is the PIN listed on the label on the printer (you may open the front cartridge access door or see the label at the back, the PIN is listed on its bottom.
