I have just had a security message trying to print from phone saying it appears to be different from the previously used printer with the same name or the connection may not be trustworthy. Has anyone else had this? V concerned about security.

@Lotlot1, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
This simply means that you are using a different printer to print than the one you used before. Check if the iPhone is connected to the right printer.
Before printing, check the preview and settings to make sure you are printing to the right printer.
Check if both the devices are connected to a secure network.
You may also follow the steps mentioned in this document - HP printer setup (Apple AirPrint for iPhone, iPad)
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

No, updates would not cause this issue. If at all the phone was connected to a different network when you were in a different place, this might happen.
Go ahead and try printing to check if it prints fine.
Let me know how it goes.

- May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
- What phone are you using the printer with, Android or an iPhone?
- Are you printing using the HP Smart App?
- What is the exact error you are receiving?
