HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer

I am trying to print to my printer. It keeps saying it is unavailable. I restarted my phone and my printer. I'm wondering if I have to update my wifi since I changed to a new provider. And if so how do I do that on my printer?

Hi @AprilM4,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've changed your Wi-Fi provider, your printer likely needs to be reconnected to the new Wi-Fi network. Here are the general steps to reconnect your HP DeskJet 2652 printer to your new Wi-Fi network.

  • Access the Printer's Control Panel: On your HP DeskJet 2652 printer, locate the control panel. It usually has buttons and a small display screen.
  • Navigate to Settings: Use the arrow keys or touch screen (if available) to navigate to the "Settings" or "Setup" menu.
  • Select Network Settings: Within the settings menu, find and select "Network" or "Wireless Setup Wizard."
  • Choose Your Network: The printer will search for available Wi-Fi networks. When it finds your new Wi-Fi network, select it from the list.
  • Enter Network Password (if required): If your Wi-Fi network is password-protected, you'll be prompted to enter the password using the printer's keypad or touch screen.
  • Connect to the Network: Once you've entered the correct password (if necessary), the printer will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
  • Print a Test Page: After successfully connecting to the Wi-Fi network, it's a good idea to print a test page to confirm that the connection is working properly.

Once you've completed these steps, your HP DeskJet 2652 printer should be connected to your new Wi-Fi network, and you should be able to print from your phone or any other connected device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
