Won’t ask for security code

I am currently staying in a hotel so when you touch the wireless network it doesn’t know I have to put in a code and it shows it’s connected when it is but not to the internet… it’s only connected to the router

Printers cannot work on a guest network or a Hotspot. You need to connect it to a personal router. 

If not, use the Wifi-Direct option.

Refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

Note: The device that you are using to print will lose internet connection while using this feature.
