I have a deskjet 2755 I've been trying to set up for like a year and a half. I've spent several days dedicated solely to setting it up. Reading tutorials and going through troubleshooting online and attempting to chat with HP support (I say attempting because besides their busted automated response system online that never helps, I've never been able to reach a human at HP). I had connected to my wifi before and was super excited thinking I could finally print after a year of trying but everything kept coming out 1/4th the size as it wouldn't recognize standard paper and it's normal AF size that I had been attempting to print. I went to Office Max where the lady said it was obviously needing a driver update and it would be good to go. So I plugged my deskjet into my windows 10 PC and downloaded drivers. I didn't have time to check if that worked but my power had gone out when I wasn't home so I flipped breaker and turned print and computer on and now it can't find my printer to connect to the network not on my windows PC, HP chromebook or any of the 6 android devices I tried, heck it's not even recognizing that it's plugged into my windows PC's USB port anymore. At this point I don't care if it's wireless or not if it can print from my windows PC via USB and print that's fine i just want it to print correctly. but nope. now I can't even have it run a paper through or print its status page or do anything.  I'm about to Office Space this Mofo and just destroy it for the satisfaction of killing this machine that for a year and a half has only caused mass stress and headaches. I used to love HP now I hate HP and it's stress machine of doom

Hi @MegaSexyKev ,

.,.,.,.,.,.,.

1. First things first. Self test page.

Make sure your printer is in "ready" state by sending a Self Test from the Left panel buttons in printer.

  • Turn on printer and load a stack of paper in the input tray.
  • Loading paper into the input tray
  • Press and hold the Power button, and then press the Cancel - X button for 5 seconds.
  • Then release the buttons and you will see a Test Page prints.
  • Test page will look like the next one:

  • Also here is a video on how you can make the Self Test page.

2.  Second thing.  Reset the Wireless system on the printer.
