Hello and help!

I want to print photos in black and white.

I have managed to 'unlock' printer shortcuts...that was hard enough!

I went into Set Preferences and selected grey scale.

And made a shortcut (with a star) called grey scale

Then I print and the print is color

So I tried again...

I went into Set Preferences and selected black ink only.

And made a shortcut (with a star) called black ink only

But the print is color.

What can I do please?

Hi,

Even with default as Black only, you still have to tick Black & White when print Photos. Please tick Black and White from printee properties (Paper/Quality tab):

Hi banhien,

the 250 mobile has a different print/layout screen.

But it has option: print in greyscale. You can choose black ink only or high quality greyscale.

Then you press OK.

It still doesn't work.

I think perhaps this printer allows black and white word docs but not black and white photos??

Hi,

Which software do you use to print ? Please try the following software

Thank you for this suggestion.

I will give you a 'thumbs up' but I'm not entirely satisfied - so I can't really say accept as solution - do I really have to change software just to get black and white photos??

I am new to this but probably best I start a new thread about printing short cuts and printing set-ups to try and get to the bottom of this bothersome problem!

Thanks banhien.
