deskjet 3700 all in one printe

Just bought 3700 all in one printer.  Well after several hours getting it to connect to internet signed up for instant ink. To get claim code it printed out the URL of http;//HP039B5D     well that doesnt exist.  Noticed no web services light on printer so go on HP support and apparantly this printer doesnt exist   If anyone knows what to do, as HP does not have any humans to talk to, i would be grateful but bear in mind I am not a computer  expert and so need to be told in easy basic english.     Thanks

Hello, @oldmanmoan – Greetings!

Thank you for joining HP Support Forums. I would be glad to be of your assistance 🙂

I understand that you are trying to get the HP connected claim code for your HP Deskjet 3700. Please go to http://hp.care/2k84J0t to get assistance in getting the claim code and setting up the HP Connected Account.

Once done, check http://hp.care/2d8Gjn3 for using the HP web-service features. Check "Step 5".

Hope this answers your questions, let me know!

Thanks & have a great day 🙂
