hp printer 3830
Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I have a 3830 printer. I haven't had it long just a few months. However, everyday when I try to print it always, "printing-looking for printer." I have to turn it off it on a couple of times, delete the printer job and start over. What can be done?

@MISSAITEL, welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you are unable to print from your HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer which is connected to your Mac computer.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: 'Printer Offline' or 'Printer Not Responding' Message (Mac)

Let me know how that works.
I hope you have a good day ahead.
