HP LaserJet MFP M725
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

For several months now, users in my company have been complaining abot a problem with our MFPs. They are experiencing a problem, where they are unable to log into the device to scan to a network folder. They are frequently having to reboot the device.

I found this information listed under the "Fixes" section for Firmware 2304070_439661: "End users prevented from authenticating to the device for some period of time following a digital send or pull print operation performed by a prior authenticated user. Some customers report an inability to login until the device has been power-cycled."

We are on firmware 2305076_518496.

This is happening for all of our HP MFPs

M725, M4555, and M525

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi James

Did you ever get a resolution to this problem?  I'm experiencing the same problem some of the time.  Did the firmware update you mentioned fix the issue?

Kind regards

I'm having the same problem with my M4345 and it's also on the latest firmware.
