Have just changed colour toners and now find the toner draw is jammed. Seems to be stuck somewhere on the right hand side. I suspect I did not align the cartridges carefully enough this time!

Anyone know how I might best release the drawer?

I'm still able to print although I'm getting some colour anomolies.

@Lostindevon

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand the HP 4525s toner drawer jammed on the right-hand side,

No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:

Did you attempt performing a power reset to release the Jam?

While you get the answer to my query, please try the below steps:

Solution one: Perform a power reset
Solution two: Check the condition of the paper, and then reload it
Solution three: Adjust the settings in the print driver

Click here for more details and steps.

For advanced troubleshooting to release the drawer, check your User manual: Click here

Hi. Appreciate help. Printer is a 1525nw.

Tried the power reset but no luck with that.

I am still able to print successfully, although there are colour issues arising which make me wonder if I've just poorly aligned the new toner set..

This fact that I can send and print from the printer suggests paper and paper feed is not the problem in this case.

Blue handle operates OK, but drawer refuses to budge.

Frustrating...

what next?

I went through process suggested and my option seemed to be paying £38 for the priviledge of ( 98% likely) being told to take it to a dealer to have it stripped down and repaired as a hardware issue. I was really looking for a do-it-yourself likely fix.  Still living in hope!
