Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have always purchased Ink cartridges from Staples or Sams, the last 564 XL is purchased from Sams came in the mail a few weeks ago, I did not need them right away so did not even open the box,

Opened it to install the black cartridge and it is narrow, like the color ones and will not seat well and I get an error message.  I have never seen the 564XL black in a narrow cartridge before.

The last three printers I have had have used this 564 cartridge and have never seen narrow black cartridges  is this new?  do they still sell the wider 564 black cartridges

Hi,

Sorry to say: You bought a wrong cartridge. There are TWO (yes 2) black HP 564 (and 564XL) ink cartridges. The narrower black actually called Photo Black which has a camera symbol

and the wider (fatter) one

Regards.
