Hello,
There are two additional things to check.
The first is the orientation of the media in the tray. When you push the tray in - that is the direction that the paper travels through the printer. Check that the longest part of the paper will travel through the printer. Sometimes there is a minium distance between rollers and some of the smaller paper sizes can only travel in one orientation.
One other possibility is that the paper is thick and that the printer thinks it is a lesser thickness. Setting the Paper Type on the printer control panel to Cardstock indicates to the printer that it should expect a different thickness. If you change the type on the printer, make sure that the type setting on the computer matches (i.e. set the type to Cardstock on the printer driver and/or in Word).
Hope that is helpful,

Hello,
Changing the media type is something that is done on the printer. When you open the tray, place the media and close the tray, a message should appear on the Printer Control Panel (around 3-10 seconds). This message should say the Media Size and Media type that the tray is set to. On that screen there should be a button to modify or change the size and type. Select that button and then select the paper type to cardstock.
Sometimes there is a photo tray and a main tray - make sure you change the type on the correct tray.
Also, remember to adjust the media type for the print job on your computer - this can be in the driver or possibly handled in a program like Word.
