- 660 prints yellow instead of red

HP 6600 prints yellow instead of red - after all setup cartridges replaced (red worked prior to cartridge replacement...YES ...used HP replacement cartridges).
Unplugging and rebooting the printer diid not work. Cleaning the metal tabs on the printer and the cartridges did not work.
Suggestions...

Sorry that you are having a problem with the yellow printing red.
See if you can take out the print head and clean with lint free cloth and water. There is a latch to the right of the cartridges. Lift it up, and take the basket area out. This is your print head.

No problem at all. Glad to see everything working correctly. If you happen to run into this problem again, try manually cleaning the print head.
The latch/lever is on the right side of the basket with the cartridges inside.
