7500a printer has error 0x610000f6

I have a HP officejet 7500a wide format printer that was operating fine with no issues.  Sent a doc to be printed, printer went through its normal long startup procedure then displayed this error code.  No troubleshooting has helped.  What does this error code mean?

0x610000f6

It says to refer to printer documentation.  There is nothing with that code in there.........

No it is not an ink issue.  So the alternative is get the item serviced.   This does not tell me what the problem is.  Nor does it identify and local service dealers.  The alternative is to call HP service and sit on hold for 25 min.  Hung up at that time.  

Would just like to know if the defect is more expensive to fix than it is to replace.  Is that too much to ask HP?
