I have a printer that is useing instant ink , I had to update may card for payment , I did that and says everything is fine with payment and useing the ink ect., however the print has an error that states there is a" problem with the print or ink system" , I ran the diagnostics on the printer saya everything is fine, I still have the same error and theprinter will not leave that error page.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve the ink system error for your Officejet Pro 8610.

It turned out to be the printer head, it is cheaper to replace the printer rather than the print head. Thanks for your reply

There is one more thing you might try, if the alternative is to scrap the OJ 8610:  remove the ink cartridges, then remove the printhead and soak it in a few inches of hot water as described in the post here (for a different model, but same principle).  After the soak remove the printhead from the water and dry the electrical contacts with a lint-free wipe.  A clean coffee filter works well for this.  With the printhead removed from the printer disconnect the power cord.  Let the printer sit for a minute, then reinstall the printhead and the ink cartridges.  Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
