hp psc 1610v all-in-one

i get an error code.........:0x880740e8.........prints about half a page fine then this error stops the printing.....how do i correct it

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.Thank you for posting your query.Thank you for sharing the issue details. I would like to help you.I read your post I see that you're getting the error code while trying to print.

Let's try these simple steps to resolve the issue:

  • Make sure that printer is directly connected to a wall socket.
  • Perform the hard reset
  • Unplug the power cord, wait for 60 seconds and plug it back in.
  • Take out the cartridges, check for any ink leakage and insert them back in.
  • Check for the jam in the printer.
  • Check weather carriage is moving freely or not.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it seems to be a hardware issue.I recommend you to contact phone support for available service options.Use the link below to get in touch with them.
