Hey HP...It's not letting me generate a case number because it's not under warranty. It was working fine until this recall. HP you need to stand behind your product and provide a freaking solution. If a car company has a recall they notify the customer and tell them what to do and it's free to fix. Your telling me there's a recall, but since it's not under warranty anymore it's my problem. I still have my original receipt. Here's what you should do. Send me a printer that's equivalent and in return I will send you back the recalled printer and I'll provide the original receipt. Just like with any recall you should get these back in your hands ASAP. I'm sure this is not going anywhere. I followed your steps you listed and where it says click on show options it's nowhere to be found on the webpage. The funny thing is that I'm not surprised just like how HP and Office Max hasn't heard of this recall issue. SMH

Another thing HP should provide customers who use 902 ink a dedicated phone number to call in. We talk to a customer service rep and it should take no more than 10 minutes to resolve this issue. Bottom line is these printers are damaged and will never work properly again and HP just wants you go out and buy a different HP model.

The cartridges are not available on the HP web site.  There is no information about the problem or a possible resolution.

It is really a bummer that nobody can find any "902" ink anywhere.  I ran out of ink today so I opened my 4-pack and the cyan cartridge read that it was not compatible with the printer.  Not knowing about the recall, I ran over to Office Depot to try to exchange the ink and was told about the issues HP was having.  I did have a receipt from July 2020 when I purchased it.  Since they had no ink on hand and it was a recalled item,  they credited my card back.  Lucky me... Looks like I'll be shopping for a new printer.
