I have an HP 6968 printer and can't find any 902 or 902XL ink in yellow.  What is happening to the 902 ink, it is not available anywhere in yellow and cyan.  It makes your printers useless.

If you had the firmware update, nothing will work except HP cartridges.

Your hyperlink to HP support doesn't work, just like my HP 6968 printer doesn't work because I can't get HP ink and you made it impossible to use a third party ink.  Very unhappy long term HP customer.

Only the standard size with black, yellow, magenta, and cyan for $57. are available.  No individual yellow or cyan 902 or 902XL is available any where including HP store.

I was told by an HP rep that there are no 902 or 902X color cartridges available at the present time.  When does HP anticipate having them in stock?  There was a recall on the color cartridges.  I was not aware of the recall until I spoke to a Staples rep.  I was also told not to purchase any 902 series color cartridges if seen in stores as there was no way to know which cartridges were defective and HP pulled all of them.  Crazy, I know!  A huge inconvenience as the printer will not work without all cartridges installed.

I went on HP and it states OUT OF STOCK, is the 902 Tri Color coming back? If not is there another ink that will work?

Thank you

No other ink cartridges other than HP will work if you had the new firmware installed on your printer.  From what I can access, HP made production errors in 902 ink cartridges that damage the printer and has recalled all of them.  HP is not responding to anything on this thread with actual information on when or if 902 and 902XL ink cartridges will again be available.  HP needs to give its customers better information on what is going on and needs to provide something to all of us who have useless printers because HP was incompetent in their production.

I enrolled in a program that automatically sends new cartridges when my printer sends them a message.  I used only original new HP cartridges.  I installed the newest one and had problems.  I need to print something so I decided to directly go to a store to purchase a new cartridge.  The store informed me that there is a recall on HP 902 color cartridges.  Now I cannot print anything.  I need help and directions ASAP

I just found this post and same things happened to me.  I believe my printer is actually damaged, using old cartridges in an attempt to just print in black did NOT work.  Now nothing works.  My printer has been rendered totally useless

I have done all the things asked for by the virtual assistant with NO PROGRESS at all.  Just keep sending me back to where I started ... asked for printer S/N ... asked for cartridge origin country ... asked for warranty date of cartridge ... I provided all and just keep getting sent back to where I started.  Very frustrating.  Took my printer to Bestbuy ... they could not help but proivided me w/ a phone number ... that was NO HELP.  I purchased HP cartridge, installed it as usual ... locked up my printer.  I can't even use the printer as a simple copier now.  Very frustrated w/ HP now.
