A 'Firmware Corrupt Ready 2 Download' Error Message Displays on the display control panel of myHP LaserJet Pro 100 color MFP M175nw. My Window 7 32bit PC cannot recognize the printer while nothing works on the control panel of the printer. The firmware update tool for this printer does not recognize the printer.

Hi gcas15,

 

I understand that you are having a firmware error on your printer display panel. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue. I suggest we reset the printer to start.

Resetting the printer
Press the Power button to turn off the product.
NOTE:The product might not turn off after pressing the Power button. Continue to the next step regardless.
Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Wait 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
Press the Power button to turn on the product.

 

Then download the latest HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility and run it.

Dosnt work. Screen shows A 'Firmware Corrupt Ready 2 Download. Pc dosnt see The printer. Do you know how to reset The printer?

I am sorry that did not help resolve the issue. Could you please follow the steps in this document for A 'Firmware Corrupt Ready 2 Download' Error Message Displays on the Control Panel.

We need to make sure that the print spooler clears out any old print jobs.

I am having the same problem  but am on a MAC os  mavricks.  How do I reset the spooler on the mac/
