The ADF (autofeeder) does not detect when I put a new document for scanning or copying, does not show the message new document detected so we can't use this feature.

These examples does not help because my problem is that the ADF dosn't detect the paper. It isn't a paper jam o problems with the rolls. When I put the paper in the ADF the printer used to show a message Document Detected but not any more.

This was happening to me too! Then I figured it out, at least for me! I hope this helps!
FIRST: Load the documents into the top loader BEFORE you even open the HP Scan program!!
SECOND: Once you load the documents, open the HP Scan program and hit the button to start scanning.
I hope this helps! Please give me a thumbs up so I will know!
