HP Deskjet 3054 J610
Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

While cleaning out old scanner drivers, I accidentally uninstalled and deleted the current one I was use for everything, HP Scan 3.   For some reason a different icon was shown on the uninstaller program?

 

I use this program for my job and I can not find the software anywhere on your website.   I need all of the features and options it had.  HP Easy Scan crashes on startup and the Apple Image Capture has half the options and doesn't scan to black and white properly.

 

The HP Deskjet 3050 J610 Series Printer software still exists on my computer.  I want the scanner software that came with it back.

For better clarity and to assist you better, I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the printer’s full feature software?
  • Did you reset the mac printing system?
     

For a start reset the Mac printing system from this link: https://support.hp.com/ro-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m177-series/5303438/document/c0137198...

Then please reinstall te full feature software from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-3050-all-in-one-printer-series-j610/4066... please follow the option “Installing a Mac Printer Driver Using Apple Software Update” which is under “Driver-Product Installation Software  Please select the correct operating system before that.
