I just got a new printer, the Hp Envy 5530 e- All- in-One-Series. I accidentally pulled out the strip thing next to the cartridges thinking it was some kind of tape or something because on the scrren it said something about a jam and to remove all tape since i just got it. I think that strip thing ended up to be something important since it keeps saying on screen that theres a problem. How do i fix this? What should i do? Please help !

There are two possiblities, both are critical.  The first would be a thin (about 1/4" wide) strip that looks mostly clear.  This is the encoder strip, the printer uses it to locate the carriage.  If the encoder strip is removed the carriage will likely slam to the side of the printer.  The post here may help reconnect the encoder strip.

The other possibility would be the electrical cable, this is about 1" wide and may be white or orange.  If this was pulled out your printer will likely require service.

I think its the electric cable. Who do i go to , to require service?

I suggest you contact HP, it may be covered under warranty.  In the US call 1-800-HPINVENt, elsewhere see the contact information here.  Be sure to mention you were following the documentation to remove the tape....
