I was able to get the ePrint to work on my iPad using an icloud account using the information that was suggested.  You will need to make sure that you select "IMAP" and not "POP".

Make sure you have "IMAP" selected not "POP" first. Double check the spelling of your email and password also.

Tried all of that and still not working- maybe icloud email just does not work for the Hp app on an android phone. I just deleted the app  and installed the Hp Remote app that does not require your email but thanks for your help anyway.
