OfficeJet Pro 8610

Using both a mac (OS X 10.6.8) and a windows (OS Windows 10 pro 64 bit) computer with an HP Officejet pro 8610.  Printing from google chrome.  Specifically shopify's print order app.  Trying to reduce size of invoice printout.  There does not seem to be any way to adjust the size of the printout.  I've tried reducing the web page size but that did nothing.  Can anyone help?

@vallyharp,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to adjust the size of the printout while printing from google chrome to your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One Printer

This issue could occur if the fit to page option is not available in Google chrome.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

You may try a different browser and check.

And here's the step by step guide for you from internet explorer:

1. Right-click on the toolbar and click on "Command bar" to make your icons appear. Click the "arrow" icon next to the Printer button and select "Print Preview."

2. Expand the "Shrink to Fit" drop-down menu. Select the scale percentage you want the web page to use. The larger the scale, the larger the text on the printout.

3. Click the "printer" icon to print your document.

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.

I'm not actually trying to print a web page.  I'm trying to print a document created by Shopify's Order Printer app.  I tried what you suggested and it reduces the web page but then my order invoice doesn't print fully it just prints the web page reduced in size with the scroll bar.

I also tried printing from MS Edge and Mozilla Firefox. MS Edge allowed me to adjust the size but it also tries to print the web page not the document.  Firefox is presenting the same as Chrome.  It will print the document but doesn't allow me to adjust the size.
