Hi,
Thanks for contacting with HP Support Forum.
If you want to use Refill ink cartridges any other ink (Except HP Ink), printer will not cover under warranty and it's totally in your own risk.
If you use refill ink, of of time printerhead will goes damage within short time. So you need to use carefully refill ink and try to clean the ISS and printhead area.
I hope that answers will support to concern adequately. Let me know! Good luck

They either have no bongo pump in the base, (rubbish design), or the bongo pump rubber splits and floods the ink service station, as it's not the build quality of the HP carts.
And refillable cartridges are also messy and dangerous. Sure you can save on ink, but a small spill will go a long way to mess up valuable clothes, carpets and relationships. You need to factor this in.
Finally ink. Every ink manufacture claims their ink is amazing and equal to HP. Some are many aren't. Colours may not match, pigment particle size and filtering may not be ideal. Reducing printhead life .
I've even seen Chinese dye inks sold as UV pigment compatible.
I refill cartridges and it's taken a while to find a reliable inks, and develop process which deliver quality.
Kind regards
P

Thanks for the very informative answer. Would you mind sharing the brand of ink you use? My printer isn't under warranty nor do I mind more frequent replacement of printheads, as it will still be cost effective.
Thanks very much!!
