The printer has not worked since June 2025.  I have had 4 computer people look at it.  Finally discovered they sent me the wrong size ink cartridges.  Got new ones, printing still wasn’t right.  Now I have thrown it in the garbage.  So how do I get HP to stop charging me an automatic fee on my credit card?  Who do I call, what # or an email address.  This is so frustrating.

Hi @Andrews32,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your All-in-One printer hasn’t worked since June 2025 and that you’ve already replaced the ink cartridges but are still being charged automatically. Let’s go through a few steps to stop the HP Instant Ink charges and ensure your account is updated correctly.

Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account

Visit www.hpinstantink.com/signin and log in using the same email address used when you enrolled in the plan.

Check your printer status

Once logged in, look for your enrolled printer on the dashboard.

If it shows as offline or not connected, that’s normal since the printer is no longer in use.

Cancel your HP Instant Ink subscription

On the account page, click “My Account” → “HP Instant Ink” → “Cancel Enrollment.”

Follow the on-screen steps to confirm cancellation.

This stops any future automatic charges on your credit card.

Return or recycle Instant Ink cartridges

After cancellation, HP requests that Instant Ink cartridges be returned using the prepaid recycling envelope that came with your last shipment.

If you no longer have it, you can recycle the cartridges locally or through HP’s recycling program.

Verify cancellation confirmation

You’ll receive an email from HP confirming the cancellation and the end date of billing.

Ensure your credit card statement reflects that no further charges are applied after that date.

Optional – Remove payment details

Once your plan shows as canceled, go to Payment Methods and remove your saved credit card details for extra peace of mind.

I hope this helps.
