Hello from Greece.
I bought the HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4675 few weeks ago .I am so happy about this printer but i have two questions
I had a all in one printer from other company who had a automatic maintenance cycle .Every couple of days of no using, the printer auto started (for heating ink catridges).Does the printer has something like that to avoid ink catridges become useless if i dont use the printer for couple of weeks?
The other question i have is how i can print a text at both sides of A4,because every print i did uses two A4 instead one A4 printed to both sides.
Thank you for all and sorry for my bad English.

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I'm glad to know that you're happy with your new HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4675 All-in-One Printer. I understand that you would like to know if this printer auto starts the maintenance for itself. And how to print on both sides of an A4 size paper.
I checked the product specifications and found that this printer is not capable of performing the maintenance task by itself unless it is initiated by the user. When you print regularly, after each print the printhead is cleaned and the cartridges are parked. But if printing is not done for a few weeks then ink may dry out. You may clean the cartridges manually using the below steps:
-
Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.
-
On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, then touch Setup
.
-
Touch Tools, then touch Clean Cartridges.
-
The printer prints a Print Quality Diagnostic report.
-
Examine the print quality on the Print Quality Diagnostic report.
-
If the print quality is acceptable, click No. You can stop troubleshooting.
-
If the print quality is unacceptable, click Yes when prompted to perform the next level of cleaning.
-
If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.
Secondly, I checked the printer hardware specifications and found that there is no duplexer for automatic duplex printing. Therefore you can perform a manual duplex printing. Please refer to this link for detailed steps on manual duplexing.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions. Cheers!
