Hi,
I have just set up my new printer, it is connected, printing and scanning just fine, with new ink. It shows no error signals.
But no matter what I do, including hard reset, it does not stop beeping...

Good Day. Thank you for taking an interest in the HP community. I will be glad to assist you and let’s get right to it. Excellent description and terrific observations made. It is amply appreciated.
Let me gather some information for better clarity to assist you correctly:
- Did this occur after a recent power outage or surge?
Meanwhile, I will be providing a roadmap with some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Let us try these steps:
- Perform a hard reset on the printer from this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t8S_U8aTlk
Update the router’s firmware if it is available.
- Then update the printer’s firmware by following instructions from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
- Use a USB cable to update the printer’s firmware.
Now check if the issue gets resolved.
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
