HP Photosmart D7260
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a HP Photosmart D7260 printer where the black ink will not print but all other colors are working correctly. I ran the various cleaning tools available within the printer. I purchased a new ink cartridge which has not solved the problem. I believe the jet may be clogged on the printhead but I don't know how to verify this or how to clean.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart D7260.  I would suggest repeating the cleaning cycle in Step 4 three times.  If the steps in the document here do not resolve the issue please try removing the print cartridges with the power turned on, then resetting the printer as described in Step 2 of the document here.
