I love this printer. Why did you discontinue? Why, why why????
It is a wireless AIO,
It has dual input trays (photo paper is always ready), separate color ink cartridges (no wasteful tri-color packs) two-sided printing.
I love it, in spite of the expensive ink. It produces beautiful photos without having to change paper and it never gives me any trouble.
But it is beginning to complain about the printhead. Is it worth replacing the printhead - if I can still get one? How do I clean the gunk out of the ink reservoir?

Welcome to the HP Forum! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!
I am really glad you liked our Photosmart 7520 printer. It’s truly a great machine 😉 Coming to your issue, you can manually clean the print head to try and fix the print head related issues.
Here is a wonderful document which will help you clean the print head: http://hp.care/2hqnn5O
Let me know if that helps!
Cheers 🙂

Been there. Cleaned the printhead many times. Printed a few pages and then quit again.
I see a big glob of ink underneath on the right side of the printer. What is that? Does it need to be cleaned?
Is ir worth replacing the printhead on a 5 year old printer? If I can still get one?

Hello, @birdbrain17
Please clean the accumulated ink inside the printer. Be careful not to get the ink spilled on your hands or on any valuables.
Then, I do not personally recommend replacing the print head on your machine. There is always a very good chance that the new print head might not resolve your issue. It could be an issue with the printer itself. So I would recommend cleaning the ink inside the printer and if that do not work upgrading the printer to a newer model.
You can contact HP phone support to get printer service or possible upgrade options.
