I have a client with an HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 that I installed 4 months ago. Was working fine until this week, then it stopped printing and the display is medium blue with the white characters "C9C70000" and a power symbol icon (circle with vertical line at top) on the screen. Will not print, shows not connected to the computer in Devices and Printers box. Powered off and on several times, see HP logo for less than a second then blue screen with white letters again. USB connection, no wireless. If this a printer blue screen of death?
Never seen this before, no hits searching for "C9C70000" in HP forums or on Google (I have never had zero hits on Google with an error code). Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?
Thank you - Eric

In order the resolve the C9C70000 error, I had to unplug the printer from the wall outlet. Simply powering off the printer with the printer's power button does not cancel the error, only returns the same error.
