Product: Unknown
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
While conducting a scan of our network computers for unauthorized software, we found the 32-bit and 64-bit HP CIO Components Installer. Does anyone know if this is part of a driver or software package install? If so, what product does it support? I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!
Jeramie

Hi @Jeramie,
Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums with your inquiry.
I understand that you here checking for unauthorized software and you came accross a 32-bit HP CIO Components Installer and a 64-bit HP CIO Components Installer. I would like to help.
The HP CIO Components Installer is part of the HP Universal Print driver. The HP Universal Print Driver is included with most printer installation software and gets installed when a network printer is being installed on a network computer. It is supposed to help with network printer stability.
