Product: LaserJet M1212nf MFP

The error message I keep getting is Paper Jam, Open the Door, clear paper jam and install the catridge properly. But the catridge looks properly installed as I have checked it ample times. How do I go about solving this issue?

AS we have properly understood your issue can you please help us with the operating system and make in model of the pc and how old is your printer ?

My PC is an hp windows 7 a few months old while the printer, LaserJet M1212nf MFP was first used on 26 April 2014 but still has approximately 450 pages remaining re printing as only 700 pages have been printed so far. Its serial number is 7652686.

Please follow these steps once again if you can :

 

 

  1. Turn the knob on the rear access door counter-clockwise.
  2. Remove the door. 
  3. Pull the jammed paper out of the printer.
  4. Check to make sure no scraps of paper are stuck in the printer.
