Hi,

Welcome to HP Support Forum. Unfortunately no, HP Envy 5660 does not support scan films (both negatives and slides).

Regards.

Sure.

Just scan the negatives to your computer. Open the negative image files with your favorite image editing software, and invert the colors. You can even do this with Microsoft Paint.

Depending on the brand of film used for the negatives, you may need to adjust to colors a little bit after inverting them to remove any color cast from the negative film.

@Golfview

Apologies for jumping in unannounced.

@banhien is right.  "Regular" printers do not "do" negatives, at least not in the manner you hope.

The problem:  This printer, like other standard printers of the same type, does not provide the back-lighting necessary to scan the specialty media (negatives).

I did find this article  -- never tested it -- certainly looks like it is worth trying:

How to Scan Negatives Using a Standard Scanner
