Product: HP Color LaserJet M252dw Print
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

HELP, ever since I received this printer a few weeks ago I have been trying to get it to print a BORDERLESS photo on an 8.5 x 11 piece of photo paper.  I've spent hours searching the web, going through different things, but nothing works. 

 

I've spent 20 minutes on hold only for someone at HP to tell me, "yes, it will print BORDERLESS, make sure you have the latest driver.  I just downloaded the FULL solution found here http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Color-LaserJet-Pro-M252-series/7089938/model/7089... the other day.

 

What am I missing?  OH, and the BORDERLESS button is greyed out.

Did you ever get a resolution to this problem?  The specs say that the printer will print borderless but I can't figure out how???  I updated the drivers and still nothing.

I am having exactly the same issue. I have downloaded all updates as recent as 30 minutes ago and still can't print borderless.

 

HP, can you give us some answers? I am very frustrated with the lack of response on this.

Well, justs bought this printer tonight and indeed the specs tell me it should be able to print borderless. But after trying for hours and looking it up on the internet indeed it seems HP is just fooling its customers... is the M252dw a scam?!

Typically HP printers do this by selecting a special paper type of " borderless 8.5x11" can you find that in your options?

 

I am considering buying this printer but would like to know if this works for you.

I spent an hour and a half on the phone with HP trying to figure this out. Not only was I having to do most of the work because the tech had no knowledge of my printer or printing settings, but finally at the end of the call, a supervisor said that the printer will print borderless, but it will still have a small white border. Seriously? So done with these people.
