HP 8610
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Is there a way to change the default settings on the 8610 to "print to fit" ? When I go into preferences to change it to that setting it doesn't save and so the form I try to print keeps cutting off the left side when printing in landscape

Hi,

I don't know the layout of your form, you can use shrtcut but this won't keep as default. I think set borderless printing as default may help. Please try

(a) Double click printer icon on desktop,

(b) Click Set Preferences,

(c) Click Advanced (Layout tab),

(d) Turn On Borderless

(e) Click Ok then Apply

I did try that and it didn't change anything. That was why I was hoping to change the "print to fit setting". I can open printer preferences and click on that...They apply and save but when I go out to print it doesnt seem to save the setting.

I guess I'm looking to make "shrink to fit" as a default if possible.
