Hello, @JUDY58 – Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I see that you are trouble finding the scanned item on your PC so that so can send it via email. Do not worry, I’m here to help 🙂 But, I’d like to know the operating system on your PC to give you the specific instructions. Hence, please reply with the details.

If you are using the Windows PC, then look in the “My documents” folder to find the scanned file. Go to http://hp.care/2oWwTBj and follow the steps listed under “Scan with HP Scan software”.

If you are using the MAC OS X, check http://hp.care/2oNZU3g and follow the instructions under “HP Easy Scan”. Even in MAC, by default, the scanned files will be saved under “Documents” folder.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Cheers 🙂
