I recently plugged my old Deskjet F4240 into my desktop. My computer detects the printer, sets it up, but can't find the drivers for the printer. The printer shows up in my device manager, but it shows up as an unknown device and not a printer. I downloaded HP Print and Scan Doctor which directs me to download the latest software and drivers from here HP Deskjet F4240 All-in-One Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support. This page then tells me to let Windows find the drivers, but Windows can't find the appropriate drivers either. The F4240 isn't listed when you search it here either Official HP® Printer Drivers and Software Download

I've tried multiple methods of troubleshooting that HP suggests, none of which have worked so far. The only drivers I've found are from a third party website so I'm not sure how legitimate it may be. The printer still seems to be functional but I can't get it to work without the drivers. Any help is appreciated.
