I did all of this too and 4x6 photo paper isn't even an option.

And now I have to turn off and back on the wireless connection every time I turn the printer on.

One thing I notice about all the responses from HP people to help? We, the users are to blame.

Well, we are not.

These printers are terrible and HP will not admit it and will continue to blame us instead of taking responsibility.

They should have issued a recall long ago and replaced these crappy printers.

Hi beachmom,

I'd love to help. Can you please remind me what operating system and software program you are using to print your photos?

Thank you!

Hi Joebhoy,

From your screenshots,  I am curious about the settings that are displayed in your printer properties. I notice that there is a yellow warning icon on the "Paper Source" - "Photo Tray" value. Under the "Print Quality" tab, what happens if you change the "Media" value to "HP Photo Papers" (or another photo paper) and then try to print?

Hi Joebhoy,

Another thought is that perhaps the printer may be having a "paper pick" issue. I know that you have been trying a LOT of things and are likely tired of it; I can totally appreciate and respect that. If you are up for it, I suggest trying the things listed in the document at the following link to see if it is indeed a "paper pick" issue with the printer, or to at least rule it out:

Thank you for your patience!

Kind regards,

That 'conflict' is no longer there now.
