Acer Chromebook Spin 513
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and older

Hi

After having bought a new Chromebook from Acer (Spin 513) and the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28a I checked the print and scan functionality - everything worked like a charm.

Connected USB cable, ChromeOS detected the correct device and offers printing and scanning capability.

Now, after some weeks, I wanted to use the Scan feature - and it did not work anymore. I haven't changed anything.

Device is connected, I can print... But the scanner dialog shows only that there is no scanner available.

How to fix this? The weird thing is - it worked shortly after buying the chromebook since this was a prerequisite to buy the chromebook with the HP scanner together.

Thanks for any help.
