HP Office Jet Pro 8620

I've had my HPOJ Pro 8620 for a while.  I set it up so that I could scan documents and send them to my hotmail account - which always used to work.  But recently I've been geting the following error message  "username or password is incorrect. Make sure both user account and password are valid".  I'm not sure what user name and password to use.  Can anyone help?

Hi,

You should use the username and password for your Hotmail account, if you may changed you r password lately you will need to modify the printer configuration accordingly:

  1. Tap the Ethernet or WiFi icon on the top of your pritner front panel and locate its IP Address.
  2. From your computer type this IP into your web browser.
  3. Open the Scan tab.
  4. Under Scan to Email click on Outgoing Email Profile.
  5. Click Edit for your active email outgoing profile and follow the steps on screen.
  6. Keep any settings as set and ensure the Hotmail user account and password are correct.
  7. Follow the steps on screen and press Save and Test.

With a proper configuration the test should pass and the scan to email feature should work again.

Please let me know of any problem,

Shlomi
